Sweet Things

For Isabel's 6th birthday, she had a Valentine's party!!!
Patty's birthday is also today, so she received a tasty kind of "present."
In case you were wondering what it looked like BEFORE the cinnamon rolls were baked, I thought I'd include a shot of the sweet goodness.
My friend Mary thinks she needs a standing order of 2-3 dozen cookies PER WEEK delivered to her at Bible Study Fellowship. She's cracking me up! However, they are pretty irresistible!

Busy February!

Chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and ganache
Homemade tea rings!
Griffen's birthday cake, minus the train.

I have had the kitchen torn apart for bakery items for WEEKS now! I've made cinnamon rolls, tea rings, sugar cookies, and the WORKS for several people around town. I will try to post the picture WITH the train when I receive the picture. I am certain, by the way, that the Saints won because I elected to make fleur-de-lis cookies! :-)

Blue, BLUE, and more bLuE!!!

This past month has been full of boy shower events! Here's a couple more. It's growing more and more difficult to keep on coming up with new ideas! Enjoy!

Shower cakes

The above cake was chocolate cake on the top tier, and it was a surprise on the bottom! The bottom tier had two layers. One was white cake, one was strawberry cake! What a fun way to diversify for your crowd!
This cake was made with coffee flavored chocolate cake, mocha frosting, and coffee mocha fondant. YUM!

Christmas Cookies

This was my first year to decorate sugar cookies for customers, but I had a lot of fun and learning through the process. I'm anxious already for next year so I can try some new tricks I learned in a cookie book!

Choo Choo!!!

For my son's 2nd birthday, I made him a train cake to match his train table gift! Ha! And no, it's NOT the Williams-Sonoma cake pan. For the record, I shaped every single detail of each one of the cars! Phew!
